Updates Beginning June 1, 2021:

Monday-Friday 9 to 10 AM: Single Household Appointments

Monday-Thursday 10 AM to 7 PM: Walk-In Browsing and Library Pick-Up

Friday 10 AM to 5 PM: Walk-In Browsing and Library Pick-Up

Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM: Walk-In Browsing and Library Pick-Up

Congratulations to everyone who has been fully vaccinated! Thank you for doing your part to keep our community healthy. Per CDC recommendations, all fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear a mask in the library. Masks are encouraged and available for all other patrons. Staff will continue to wear masks in support of all those not yet vaccinated who wish to visit the library safely. Walk-in browsing is held Monday - Thursday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Fridays from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Browsing visits are limited to a 30-minute visit, with a max of 20 patrons in the building at a time.

Single Household Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 9 to 10 AM. These 20 minute visits allow one household at a time to browse for materials with no limit on the quantity you can check out, use a computer, make copies, or send a fax. To make an appointment call the Library at 319-624-2678 during staff hours.

Library Pick-Up You can place materials on hold using our online catalog or by calling (319-624-2678) by 5 PM the day before pick-up. If you aren't sure what you'd like, let our staff choose for you! Complete this short form to request materials. Available materials include books, audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles, and cake pans! Pick up location is just inside the library entryway and extended pick up windows are from 10 AM - 7 PM on Mondays through Thursdays, 10 AM - 5 PM on Fridays, and 9 AM - 5 PM on Saturdays. Staff will email or call you to confirm your materials are ready.
