Donate new or gently used winter gear at the Library. You can even build a snow buddy (if we have enough snow) anywhere around the library building and dress them in your extra mittens, scarves, and winter hats.

At the end of January all winter accessories will be donated to Shelter House where they’ll be shared with our community members in need. Help us make sure nobody is left out in the cold this winter!

Specific needs for our neighbors this winter include:

Clothing(sizes Large-4XL): Winter coats, sweatshirts, sweatpants, new socks and underwear, and new long underwear

Warming: Hats, gloves, hand and feet warmers, twin blankets, pillows, and winter boots

Hygiene: razors, lip balm, deodorant, foot powder/spray, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, towels, and washcloths

Medical items: Ibuprofen, acetaminophen, cough drops, and band-aids

Miscellaneous: Paper plates, paper cups, paper bowls, plastic silverware, earplugs, refillable water bottles

A tote is located inside the Library to collect your donations for the Shelter House. We'll deliver them at the end of January.
