Summer Reading Program evening activities for families.

Family Movie Night
Tuesday, June 2 at 6:30 pm

Join us for Family Movie Night when we watch The Incredibles.
Snacks and drinks will be provided. 
This movie is rated PG and is 115 minutes.

Officer Matt & K9 Visit
Tuesday, June 9 at 6:30 pm

The audience will learn about Officer Matt & his police dog.
Hear about their training and see demonstrations of
how the two of them work together as a K9 unit.

Jester Puppets - "The H.E.R.O.s"
Tuesday, June 16 at 6:30 pm

H.E.R.O.S is a 3 person show with multimedia and special effects including 20 puppets.
This story starts with 4 young children as they play video games and talk. They imagine
what kind of hero they would be and proceed to tell a story which, through puppets and
live characters, comes to life.  The adventures take a turn when each kid unknowingly
reveals a trial in their life such as being bullied, feeling inadequate and even just
having a big nose but learn to face and even overcome them.

Pint Size Polkas
Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30 pm

Accordion player and children’s polka musician, Mike Schneider, from
Milwaukee, WI will perform his show, “Real American Heroes.”

Science Center of Iowa – Super Human You
Tuesday, July 7 at 6:30 pm

With the help of SCI’s trained outreach presenters, children will discover
their own super human abilities through interactive demonstrations.
“Super Human You” will introduce children to the science of
memory, sound, time, the human body and more.

Family Movie Night
Tuesday, July 14 at 6:30 pm

Join us for the final Family Movie Night of
the summer when we watch Megamind
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
This movie is rated PG and is 95 minutes.
